Where do I start from? ‘When I leave school, I will get a job, get married, and buy a car.' this statement remains very popular among university students and soon-to-be graduates. While having a career goal andr projection is good and usually advised; it is also important to leave room for growth and accept the fact that things might not pan out the way you had envisaged. For someone who sustained a serious leg injury during my service year and who was confined to the use of crutches for months, tech seemed like the way out because everyone was talking about and  I was not ready to sit at home doing absolutely nothing. However, what no one told me was how difficult and emotionally draining this path would be, especially for someone with no savings, and support from anyone.  Hours learning, refining thoughts, watching videos and working became my daily routine and I am sure a lot of young people spend a considerable amount of time repeating the same pattern but it is important ...

Eagles Soar to Super Bowl Glory, Deny Chiefs Historic Three-Peat in Dominant Win

Image
A couple of hours ago, Super Bowl LIX, which was held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, saw the Philadelphia Eagles triumph over the Kansas City Chiefs with a commanding 40-22 victory. The Eagles started strongly and in the first three quarters had a commanding 34-6 point gap over the Chiefs, and despite the Chiefs team trying to rally in the fourth quarter, it was too little too late as the damage had been done. This victory denied the Chiefs from winning an unprecedented third successive championship and ensured the Eagles their second Super Bowl victory. Some highlights of the night were the astounding performances of star man and MVP of the game Jalen Hurts, who showcased exceptional performance, completing 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to rushing for 72 yards. Also, wide receiver DeVonta Smith, who was a strong performer on the night, made sure he used his speed to torture the Chiefs team. As for the halftime show, Not Like Us, crooner Kendri...

Exercise is essential, as we all know, but not everyone has the time or motivation to go to the gym on a daily basis. The good news? You don't have to! You can stay active without even realizing it by including small movements and activities into your daily routine. Here's how to keep fit without straining yourself. 1. Pacing Since your schedule is usually tight, especially when you're at work, pacing around is a good way to exercise. When you're on the phone, get up and move around rather than sitting down. Whether you're catching up with a friend or on a business call, walking as you talk will help you improve your step count. 2. No shortcuts; take long walks Park your car or bike further away from your destination, make use of the stairs rather than the elevator, or walk rather than drive to local locations. Without an organized workout, these small changes help you stay active over time. 3. Enjoy your chores  Chores time is a good time to do some routine exerc...

However, Jalen Hurts and the entire Eagles team will be looking forward to making up for the disappointment of the 2023 season when they lost to this Chiefs team.  Not only will it be a wonderful night because of the football, but we'll also see the greatest 15-minute show on earth where the 'Luther' crooner, Kendrick Lamar, fresh off his 5 Grammy awards win, is expected to bring the roof down with his performance. Having joined Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige in the 2022 halftime show, Kendrick will be ready to go and show his stuff.  Whether another top act will join him on stage like Alicia Keys, H.E.R., etc. joined Usher in the 2024 show is what we're not cer...
