Juggling translation and content writing? These tips will help you.

 As a French translator and content writer, there are common challenges that I face and I believe there are a lot of people facing similar challenges irrespective of the language they speak or have adequate knowledge in.


What are some of these challenges
⭐ SEO optimization in different languages.
⭐ Finding time to switch between translation and content writing.
⭐ The difficulty in keeping up with language evolution and changes.
⭐ Difficulty in keeping the audience across both cultures engaged with your content.

The thing about the above points is that they might make it difficult for us to put out content because we often wonder :
? How good is the content?
? Will people from a different culture adequately understand what you mean?
And the more we dwell on these problems, the harder it becomes for us to believe in our ability to write content and translate simultaneously.

Now to the solutions:
⭐ Have a style: As a translator and writer, you need to have a brand voice. This makes it easy for the audience to recognize your content. By doing this, you'll be able to build consistency and develop a stronger tone.

⭐ Collaboration: I doubt there's any niche where creatives do not collaborate. We all have a thing or two to learn from one another and making conscious efforts to learn and collaborate will help (I know this because it has and is currently helping me)

⭐ Translation tools: As a translator and content writer, you need to invest your time in gaining mastery of the numerous translation resources that are online, but be careful to not solely focus on these tools for translation.

Is it possible to get better in both niches? Most definitely yes, but you just have to be intentional and very honest about what you want to achieve and understand the role you can play in getting better.

You can also invest in taking localization courses. I am currently taking one, and I am quite certain they will help you too.
